This is my take on the layout on page 23 of the Magic book. I am also using the Fanfare paper here. LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper.

Yay! Not only did the new stuff arrive for me to create with my new big Bug arrived too! Just narrowing down some dates and the Open House invite will be out shortly. Can't wait to share and show off all the new goodies that CTMH has in the new Idea Book...I know you will just LOVE them!

Ok, I got the shipping notifications for the new stuff to arrive by the weekend. If I get everything this weekend I will hurry up and get some things together to share with you and schedule the Open House!! Love when I see the Fed Ex truck show up at the house : )

Going away...

Some of the products I have noticed that are not going to be available August 1st are:

• blocks in these sizes: 1x1 1/2 , 1x 6 1/2, 2x11, 2 1/2x 2 1/2, 4x4, and 4 1/2 x 6 1/2
• cardstock combo packs : doing away with the 6 colored palates and making them a full 12 color palate
• can't get ink pads or markes as "sets" anymore
• block organizer
• craft jar holder
• kraft color ready borders

to name a few anyway. The only paper carrying over are the Sophia, Mayberry, Lucky and Fanfare sets. So if there were any other favorites, get them now!

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of some of the new products I was able to order and can't wait to share them with you. I intend to post some artwork too. Most of my current artwork is with the older paper packs so I am waiting to share with the new paper or find some stuff that did carry over. If you have any favorite items from the Spring/Summer Idea Book, get them now as many items are retiring after this month.

August is a Great Month!

There will be a lot of things happening in August. A new Halloween Stamp of the Month (great way to get a head start on any Halloween projects). 2 different campaigns which can result in you obtaining extra stamp sets for FREE with your purchase. Welcome to my blog. I intend to make every effort to post artwork and tips here as often as I can. With two little babies this will prove to be a challenge, but am excited to show you all the fun stuff there is to know and create using Close To My Heart products. I am especially excited about the partnership with Cricut and the possibilities that come along with that, yay! Stay tuned...and I hope you keep me in your loop : )
