Time to organize!

I have been seeing alot of fabulous craft rooms lately and it has been giving me this terrible itch to get going on my room. I have take before photos to show the disasterous mess I have going on (and the fact I have to share this small space with my husband). I have a feeling this is going to take some time....First thing I need is for my husband to install some shelves in the small closet and then I am on my way...he promises to have his part done over Labor Day weekend...Hmmm...

Helping out a friend....

A friend of mine was having a dinner party and asked if I could whip up something to put by all the items she was serving. I think these turned out really cute!

LOVING this Spellbound Kit!!

Although the Idea Book showcases this packet to create a Halloween Party, I was just so in love with the papers and decided to create a layout. I still have PLENTY of material left over to create the Party projects if I wanted.

Something to keep in mind when choosing sizes with your cartridge.

Learned something new today. When using either Cricut cartridge, the sizing isn't perfect. I plan to find the instructions on how to choose the best sizing. When cutting my banner at the top I ened up with the 2 in setting. But below are pix of three different size options, and what a difference they make.

Loving our new cricut cartridge that comes out next month. It cuts out all sorts of shapes, cards, boxes and below....purses! I made this mini purse with personalized note cards for a girl that has been helping me out.

All I can say is WOW!!

I finally got my hands on the new Idea Book and it is amazing! I can't remember the last time I loved so many things in our book. I can't wait to start sharing with you. All the papers are awesome! We have some new colors. There are also some specific paper packet colors only available with the sets. Some really stinkin' cute stamps. Would love to hear from you on what types of things you would like to see at workshops? This helps me plan even better : )

What's New?

I just heard we are getting some NEW colors!!!

Hope everyone is having a great summer! Still trying to work out the kinks with my blog : ) I am keeping my fingers crossed that this post will make it and I can continue with business as usual. I am getting excited for the new catalogue that is coming out next month and plan to host a launch party. You will get to see some products hands on. There will be some make-n-takes. And there will also be a raffle for one or more persons to receive hostess benefits. Stay tuned....

Ok, things are coming along slowly. Still trying to figure out how to make changes. Hope everyone is having a great summer! Watch out for updates and news on the new catalogue coming out in August and for a fun open house to view all the great new things!

Workshops

Sometimes my workshop dates might not work for everyone, but don't fret! Schedule a workshop at your home (minimum of two guests required). This way you can still participate in the workshop you missed or maybe there is something specific you want to learn. Whether it be a technique or one of our new products, contact me and we can plan something fun! Many women are always looking for a night out, and this is a great way to get together with your friends while doing something fun!

Come and Play!

June 19th from 7-9pm!
Come make these two great cards and learn a few techniques. Must RSVP by June 8th in order for me to be sure I have enough supplies. Cost is $7.50. You will learn the two card folds, receive instructions, and use of my equpiment.

Only two weeks left to get your hands on this GREAT paper pack, "Dotty For You". There are so many different designs and my favorite part is that each sheet has polka dots on the back (hence the "dotty" in dotty for you : )

Stamp Sets Organized!

Well, I did it! I organized my stamp sets. What you see below are the boxes each labeled. Below that is the folder I created using CTMH products (except the folder itself). And then a snapshot of inside. I scanned each stamp set and then have them organzied in categories as labeled on the front of the stamp sets (ex. spring, summer, etc.). Now I know what stamp sets I own and where to find them. Yay!

Happy May! Today is the last day to get in on the raffle with the Spring Fever gathering that was scheduled. This month I plan to post more artwork showing the stamp sets and creative ways to use them that you might not have thought about. Be sure to check back often. I also spent a lot of time scanning my stamp sets. I have been wanting to organize them for a very long time now. My plan is to have a little book with the stamp images so I can browse through it and then know exactly which box the stamp set is in. Of course, I didn't realize truly what a "collector" of these I was, until I had to scan each and every one! But I can't wait to have it done and be organized! Those of you that know me, have seen or "borrowed" some of the ideas of things you have seen me do. Let's see who jumps on this stamp organization once you see the completed product. I will even post a photo for you : )
