Zoe

It may have been a while since you have looked at all the paper packs in the current book. All of our paper is very versatile. Here I am using Zoe and some Ruby fundamentals.

I also used our Cricut cartridge Artfully Sent. See, that too is versatile and not only for card makers. I added some Ruby shimmer paper and a little base and bling rose (from our previous book, but a great way to use any left over bling you have).

Ok, if you headed over to my Join tab you may have already received a peek at just some of the perks for doing what you love! Other fun perks... incentive trips are amazing! Free products are a must. And then you have your upline who are always encouraging and some offer some fun incentives for their teams too! And if you attend convention  or other local events CTMH puts on, let me tell you, it is worth every penny! The artwork, the products, the excitement.... and there are always give aways!! Online training

Once you join CTMH you have access to the Company website. It is filled with lots of training videos and how to's. There are videos from top consultants sharing their success stories, as not everyone will handle their business the same way and not everyone has the same interests. There are lot of materials for inspiration and ideas, and how to create them utilizing the most of your supplies leaving a lot left over for more creating. There is a fun bulletin board to converse with consultants all over,  from sample artwork, to business tips, to even trading or selling products you have (or searching for something that maybe isn't sold anymore). There are  videos on how to use all the tools available to us consultants. You are never alone on this journey. And for the hobbyist point of view, there are many avenues for inspiration! And always fun things to see.

What else?

Can meetings and training classes be fun? Oh heck yeah they can. The best part? Early peeks at new products, getting your hands on the new stuff, and prizes! There are always drawings for free stuff. At the last convention I attended a brand new consultant won a free trip to Australia for  their convention. So it doesn't matter who or what level you are at, you have the same opportunity to win stuff. It is ultimately up to you though on what you do with the business end of things.

So let's talk a little but more about that. How can I earn income? Well, the first and foremost is to have dates booked for home gatherings or workshops. I call them workshops because some of your long term customers don't need any explanation on what CTMH sells or offers. What  is fun for them is to have some ladies get together and showcase new products and let them get their hands on the new products as well. Who wouldn't want to go to a friends house and sit back and chat and create something fun! Wouldn't you??

I am going to post daily fun facts the next week to prepare for what is coming next month. I am so excited what Close To My Heart has to offer that I want to be sure you do too!

I don't think there is any job out there that lets you sit around and occasionally post online and hope you make a sale. But the cool thing about DOING something for this company is, you get to do what you love, crafts! Why wouldn't you want to sit around and play with all these cool products and share them with others? There is a place for everyone at CTMH, you just have to decide what you want and where you want to go with it.

And here is a cool tip. Starting April 1st you can join for $75 and get all your basic business tools you will need and that cool large organizer PLUS $50 to choose your own products! How cool is that. Previously you had to get the prepared kit and maybe you didn't need everything or maybe you didn't like a particular paper. Now you can pick what you want. If you are just a hobbyist this is a great way to get exactly what you want right away (and some of our new goodies early!) and  if you want to try to make a business, then you can pick what products inspire you most and are most exciting to you to want to share with others!

Seasonal Expression Launch Event

This morning was SO much FUN! I just love these little events CTMH puts on and I am also VERY excited about this next book coming out May 1st!  Starting April 1st (maybe a few days before) will be some very exciting news for both those who want to be a CTMH hobbyist or those who want to make money doing something they love! I can't wait to share those details. For now here are two sneak peeks at what I can share now : )

And for those that scrolled all the way to read this... let me just add this: If you have Disney vacation photos still not in albums or are about to take a trip to Disney, there are some AMAZING things coming in May that I have a feeling will just completely sell out. So once those are available, if I were you, I would order more than just one. I mean, how many photos do we take when we go to Disney??? Many, right? Trust me on this one ; )

A little funny for the day

Yesterday I was in a panic that I forgot to get my Easter cards mailed out. Thankfully I had them made already. As I saw the mail carrier pass by my house I ran to get my cards, fill out the envelope and card inside, slap a stamp on it and then watch out the window for her to return on the opposite side of the street. I thought, gee, if I get these out today maybe they still have a chance to make it for Easter or maybe a day late. Then I needed to run errands and decided to take the cards with me in case I passed (my mail carrier). As I was driving down the street it occurred to me that hey!, I can put these in my friends mailbox (she lived down the street). So I called her and asked and then popped them in her mailbox. Later that night as my husband and I were going over some calendar events he told me that Easter was still a week away. I was like, no, it's this weekend. I looked at the calendar and sure enough....Easter was a week away. Phew! My cards will be on time. So thankful to have some made up ahead of time for when such drama pops around the corner : )

Fun with Pinterest

Pinterest is a great tool for inspiration. Some days we need something to direct us in the way we want to go with a project. Today i just felt like creating something. I seen cards made similar to the ones I have here below. It was fun trying to create these and figure out measurements and what not. Sometimes simple is the way to go.
